Clear answers about Lettersiro font licenses, permitted usage, downloads, and support.
FAQ Category
License Basics
The right license depends on how you plan to use the font. Lettersiro offers separate licenses for desktop design work, website embedding, e-publications, merchandise and print-on-demand products, trademark logos, digital advertising, apps/software/games, servers, broadcast and film, and broader corporate use. If your project combines several types of use, you may need more than one license or a broader license.
You may contact Lettersiro if you need several licenses or broader coverage.
Any discount is subject to confirmation by Lettersiro; no specific percentage or discount is guaranteed simply because multiple licenses are required. The current public FAQ already invites customers purchasing multiple licenses to contact Lettersiro.
Please contact Lettersiro before using the font.
A custom or Corporate agreement may be available for projects that require broader, unusual, or combined usage rights.
Only according to the license supplied with that specific free/demo font.
Do not assume a free/demo download gives the same rights as a paid commercial license. For commercial projects, always check the license supplied with the font or purchase the appropriate Lettersiro license.
The current EULA grants usage according to the license tier selected at purchase, and individual product/license terms may specify lifetime usage where applicable. You should follow the exact terms shown for the license purchased.

Logos & Trademarks
Yes. A Desktop License allows you to create logo concepts and non-trademark logo designs.
If the final logo or wordmark will be registered as a trademark or used as an officially owned brand mark, you need a Trademark Logo License.
No. Trademark registration is not included in the Desktop License.
For a logo, wordmark, or brand mark intended for trademark registration, please purchase the appropriate Trademark Logo License.
Yes, you may create a non-trademark logo for a client under the applicable Desktop License.
If the client intends to register the final logo or wordmark as a trademark, the project requires a Trademark Logo License covering the final brand/logo usage.
FAQ Category
Products, Merchandise & POD
Yes. The Desktop License allows end products for sale up to 20,000 combined sales/units.
This can include merchandise, products, T-shirts, packaging, and similar finished designs.
The 20,000-unit limit is not multiplied by the number of users, computers, clients, stores, products, or sales platforms.
You need a Merchandise and POD License once your usage exceeds the Desktop License limit.
Current Merchandise and POD tiers cover up to:
- 50,000 sales
- 100,000 sales
- 250,000 sales
- Unlimited sales
Choose the tier that covers your expected total sales.
Yes, but POD products for resale require a Merchandise and POD License.
This license can cover products such as T-shirts, mugs, tote bags, stickers, posters, wall art, cards, packaging, and similar merchandise, according to the sales tier you purchase.
A Merchandise and POD License may cover editable templates, provided the customer cannot access, download, extract, install, or reuse the original font file.
You may use outlined, curved, flattened, or rasterized text in the final customer-facing design.
No.
You may not resell the font itself or create products where the primary value is access to the font, letters, or glyphs. This includes alphabet packs, individual glyph sets, font packs, SVG alphabet sets, embroidery alphabets, or typeable font products derived from the font.
For Merchandise and POD, the new terms allow usage across one or multiple stores, shops, marketplaces, websites, or brands owned and operated by the license holder, while total sales remain subject to the purchased sales tier.

Font embedding requires a Web Font License.
Not under a normal Web Font License.

For this type of platform, please contact Lettersiro for appropriate licensing.

It can cover use in app or game interfaces, menus, buttons, splash screens, HUDs, dialogue boxes, onboarding screens, and similar interface elements according to the purchased quantity/tier.
No.
If the font is installed or used on a server to automatically generate PDFs, reports, certificates, images, previews, mockups, or personalized output, you need a Server License.

Corporate & Usage Restrictions
The Corporate License is intended for companies, organizations, agencies, or brands that need broader usage across multiple users, teams, departments, branches, vendors, or brand systems.
Depending on the selected Corporate plan or written agreement, coverage can include commercial projects, web use, e-publications, merchandise, digital advertising, trademark logos, software/apps/games, broadcast and film, and other approved company-wide uses.
No.
You may not resell, sublicense, publicly distribute, or make the original font files available for download.
A font license gives you permission to use the font according to the purchased license. It does not transfer ownership of the font itself.
You may convert text to outlines/curves and modify those graphical outlines as part of your design work.
You may not create, rename, redistribute, or sell a new or derivative font based on a Lettersiro font without written permission.
No, unless Lettersiro explicitly grants written permission under an appropriate custom or Corporate agreement.
The new license terms prohibit using the font files for AI training, machine-learning datasets, font-generation systems, or similar dataset purposes.
Additional Desktop licenses increase the number of licensed users who may install and use the font.
They do not multiply the permitted sales/unit limit. The sales limit applies to the licensed usage, not separately to each user, computer, client, store, or platform.

Orders & Support
After a successful checkout, your download should be available from the order/thank-you flow and the purchase email.
If you cannot locate the download email, check your spam/junk folder and then contact Lettersiro support with your order information.
Because fonts are digital products, completed purchases are generally non-refundable, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
